Refund & Return Policy

At Swadeshi Mahadev Products, we are committed to delivering high-quality, fresh, and naturally processed edible products. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, our return and refund policy is structured carefully to ensure product safety and hygiene.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged during transit

  • The product is defective or leaking

  • An incorrect item was delivered

  • The product is expired at the time of delivery

To be eligible for a return:

  • The request must be made within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product must be unused and unopened

  • Original packaging and invoice must be retained

  • Clear images or videos must be shared as proof

Non-Returnable Items

Due to food safety regulations, we do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or used edible products

  • Products damaged due to improper storage

  • Items returned after the specified timeframe

  • Taste preferences or personal dissatisfaction

As our oils, spices, pulses, and ghee are natural products, slight variations in color, texture, or aroma are normal and do not qualify as defects.

Refund Process

If your return request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • The refund process may take 5–10 business days

  • In case of Cash on Delivery (COD), refund will be processed via bank transfer or UPI

We reserve the right to reject refund requests that do not meet policy conditions.

Replacement Policy

Instead of a refund, customers may choose:

  • Replacement of the same product

  • Exchange with another product of equal value (subject to availability)

Replacement will be shipped after verification of the issue.

Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation by Customer:

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

Order Cancellation by Us:

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Product unavailability

  • Pricing errors

  • Payment verification issues

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged/wrong product), we will arrange pickup or reimburse return shipping charges.

  • If return does not qualify under policy, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

Quality & Storage Disclaimer

Our wood-pressed oils and other edible products are free from preservatives and chemicals. Customers are advised to:

  • Store products in a cool and dry place

  • Keep containers tightly closed

  • Follow usage and storage instructions mentioned on packaging

Improper storage may affect product quality and is not eligible for refund.
